I've spent 20+ years building and leading technology organizations, as an engineer, as a manager, and eventually running engineering orgs end to end.
These days I coach and advise CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and technical founders working through problems that don't come with a playbook: engineering that's stopped working for reasons nobody can quite name, a leadership role that no longer fits, an organizational decision nobody wants to make.
I've worked with technology leaders from Spotify, Hotjar, Enigma, Adverity, Delivery Hero, and AMBOSS, among others.
I'm based in Berlin. I also write The Hagakure, essays about technology, leadership, and organizations.
